7/31/26 THE WOUND IS JUST THE BEGINNING
When the Serpent finds an unguarded place to strike, his venom will actually attack your vital systems. You won't just suffer an injury at the place of the bite. Protect yourself from Satan's attacks in the seemingly insignificant areas of your life. Your enemy only needs a scratch to infect and destroy you.

7/29/26 THE SMOKE HIDES THE TRUTH
7/29/26 THE SMOKE HIDES THE TRUTH
There are a lot of words I don't use because the meaning of a word today may not be consistent with the historical usage. ZIONISM is one of those words.
I prefer using Biblical terms (such as pure, holy, and righteous rather than sinless or sinlessness) because I can go back to Divine revelation for an explanation.
When I talk about the gracious atoning work of Christ, I can say that God purifies the serious believer from all sin. There is no Biblical argument against this truth, though some people still mount a human-based theological denial of what the Bible clearly says. Therefore, people would rather use the buzzwords, sinless or sinlessness, because they can define them any way they want to define them. Whereas pure, holy, righteous, sanctified wholly, and other Biblical terms speak for themselves, and actually do address the sinless and sinlessness terminology.
Likewise, I use the words Jew, Jews, Israel in reference to historical individuals or a people group and also used it in reference to a geo/political, national entity.
God promised Abraham, Isaac. and Jacob. and the throne occupied by King David as Divinely deeded to the Jewish people throughout history, including the last days of human history.
Every Jew, as every Gentile, stands or falls in his/her relationship with God based on a personal faith relationship with Jesus Christ. God had a plan for obedient and disobedient Israel; God still has a plan for Israel, and God will use Israel in a very definite way in the future.
Jesus was born as a Jew; Jesus died for all men and will save anyone (Jew or Gentile) who calls on the name of the Lord.
Antisemitism (and we all know that it actually applies to hatred of the Jew) is a sin of hatred, pride, prejudice, hypocrisy, and resistance to God's authoritative word. A false narrative has been woven by God haters and palmed off on Biblically illiterate followers of Romish and Reformed (deformed) Theology. Hate groups and weird cults have swallowed the lies of Satan and regurgitated a view of God and His word that totally slanders the truth of the Bible.
Some people have mistakenly given Jews an exemption from judgment, based on genealogical factors, and others have made them the spawn of Satan and the Synagogue of Satan. Both positions are diabolical and diametrically opposed to a sound understanding of God's word.
One thing I have noticed is that the Jew haters are more focused on judgment and condemnation than on the redemptive nature and work of Jesus. Look at the people, their words, their association, their background and you will usually see earmarks of corruption and even stupidity. Remember, sin makes you stupid, and adopting an anti-Biblical view of Israel and Jewish people is sin, which leads to spiritual stupor.
You better have a truly Biblical pastor, and then you better denounce all the biases you swallowed from corrupted, crooked, deceived, haters of God.
Everyone who lives to the status of accountability to God has sinned and has hated God in some fashion, including Jews. But the Jew (along with all other sinners) is the object of Divine love and reconciliation.
I won't go into it right now, but the Jew haters don't even understand Biblical imagery (such as in Revelation) or Typology of the Old Testament Laws, Sacrifices, Diet, and Festivals. They listened to false teachers rather than solid Biblical teaching. They got stuck in Replacement and Covenantal Theology and then fell for the more toxic forms of deception.

Matthew 15:7-9
7 You hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honors me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Our words and our works ought to agree.
God tells us we are to be doers of the word and not hearers only.
God also tells us that those who "look into" (investigate, inquire, study) and continue in the "Perfect Law of Liberty" (the same as the "Law of Love," and the Royal Law," which is also related to "the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus"), will be doers of the work.

Salvation is a BEING and DOING reality. Salvation impacts our desire and our deeds (thoughts, words actions).
James 1:19-25
19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholds himself, and goes his way, and straightway forgets what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Jesus said that His brother, sister, mother are those who do the will of God. (Mt. 12:50)
Jesus said that entering the kingdom of heaven requires more than "calling" Him Lord, it requires doing the will of the Father. (Mt. 7:21-27)
Jesus said that the blessed person is the one who hears the word of God and keeps (follows, obeys) it. (Lk. 11:28)

Jesus said that the blessed person is the one who hears the word of God and keeps (follows, obeys) it. (Lk. 11:28)
In fact, the whole Bible bears witness to the fact that salvation is a faith that works, obeys, follows, submits to God. Faith without works is dead (James 2:14-26).
There is no salvation through the law (system, rule, arrangement, path) of works, but there is salvation through the law (system, rule, arrangement, path) of faith (Ro. 3:27).
The deeds or works of the Law (Old Testament system) profit nothing, but the law of faith produces Christlikeness and the Fruit of the Spirit. Our works without Christ are as filthy rags but our works of faith produce a personal righteousness. It is called righteousness by faith.
The Christian and Righteousness
Being a new creation means we are created for the purpose of good works, righteousness, and true holiness. Our body (which is the temple of the Holy Spirit), and the various parts of our body are instruments of righteousness. We (as believers) choose to be servants of sin or servants of righteousness. The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has set believers free from the Law of Sin and Death, and therefore the righteousness of the law is fulfilled in those who walk in the Spirit. Awake to righteousness and sin not. A Christian has a righteousness, which is of God, by faith, which enables total commitment and righteous living.

We are not saved by our works, but if our faith does not work the works of God (trust God), then we are not saved.

7/24/26 WE MUST TRUST
7/24/26 WE MUST TRUST
(As it is with most people) I have some friends who are going through very deep valleys, dark moments, and trying times.
For those friends (who may be reading this), I care, I love you, and I am sorry for your pain. But as you know, "God does all things well." He has a plan. Also, "joy comes in the morning," and sometimes the most difficult part of the journey is the most rewarding part. People sometimes say that they would not trade their most difficult trial because it has brought them closer to God and made them into the better person that they are now. Still, I know sometimes the darkness is so thick that "you can't see your hand in front of your face." Sometimes the mental pain is unrelenting and compounded by more troubles.
In those times, all you can do is "hold on." An old colloquial phrase is, "Put out your big anchor." I tell folks that when the storm is fierce and you see no break in the onslaught, "Face the storm, put out your big anchor (or your Sea Anchor), don't worry about moving forward, just trust in the Lord; He will not fail you or leave you."
The same kind of helplessness can come from our small, niggling trials, as well as the monster storms of life. Scripture tells us, "The little foxes spoil the vine." Your mind is bombarded with incessant attacks that rise up, creating insurmountable barriers. Again, "Turn your eyes upon Jesus." In those times, it is not the thundering surge of the tsunami that threatens our doom; it is the constant dripping of unrelenting torment.
It is not always easy to endure those trying times, but it is always possible. The victory is won by faith. When we can't see our way out of a dilemma, we must believe our way out. Deliverance and victory are not obtained by our carnal efforts, or our obstinance, it is won by the Divine deliverance of Christ. But we must believe and we must believe in spite of the "cold hard evidence, which assails us. Without faith it is impossible to please God. "Hold the fort," Jesus will win the day.
Peter started his "water walk" by faith, but when he took his eyes off of Jesus, he became subject to the wind and wave, and then, when he turned his eyes to Jesus, Jesus saved him from his danger.
The observation has been made,
"God's sea is so large,
But my boat is so small..."
"God's sea is so large,
But my boat is so small..."
It has also been said, that,
"We cannot direct the winds,
But we can adjust our sails."
"We cannot direct the winds,
But we can adjust our sails."
Our troubles are bigger than we are, but God is bigger than our troubles. God offers His deliverance to the people who put their trust in Jesus. We are to, "Cast all of our care upon Him, for He cares for us.
Remember, God always does all things well, and everything that we go through is for our good and His glory. "Be not weary in well doing, for in season you shall reap if you faint not."

7/22/26 HELP STOP SATAN'S ATTACK ON GOD'S CHURCH
7/22/26 HELP STOP SATAN'S ATTACK ON GOD'S CHURCH
Acts 20:28-30 (God's directive [through Paul] to the elders of local churches)
28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
With the deception, wickedness, and destruction that Satan is sneaking into local churches these days, it is essential that Pastors and local church leadership exercise Biblical protections for their congregations. The vilest and most vicious behavior is often exercised by the sweetest, most talented, and seemingly most spiritual people.
It comes in both genders, all ages and races. It comes under the guise of, "putting Jesus first." This is why the Bible tells us not to "put our hands" (of approval) on anyone quickly. Sadly, there are fewer and fewer pastors who have discernment and Biblical knowledge of church management and leadership. They are seeking numbers and images rather than lost souls that need to be converted, discipled, and equipped for ministry and leadership.
As long as churches are seeking fleshly trophies (numerical, financial, and popularity), then their churches are sheep left open to the attacks of the wolves that will devour and abuse them.
It is bad enough that pastors are little more than hirelings and have no Biblical sense of responsibility to protect their parishioners, but it is especially bad when a pastor is contacted privately, by another pastor or concerned believer in the area, offering information that might save his congregation from being deceived, abused and divided, and his young people from being either drawn away by a self-serving wolf in sheep's clothing, or driven away from a Biblical faith and a loving family relationship. Yet this is what I am seeing happen. If Christians would just be actual, Bible believing, Spirit led Christians, they would not swallow the swill of the fake ministers, on public media or in-person "ministries" that slither onto their church platforms. Someone needs to guard the dignity and influence of the pulpit.
But what if the person who comes to inform and to warn is wrong or is a false witness? The pastor and the leadership still need to be willing to hear the allegations. If they are groundless, then no harm is done. Pastors and leadership are not called or excused for being gullible, but they are answerable to God for allowing their ministry to be sabotaged and their people exploited and their young people led astray. If the warning is not well founded, then the church becomes aware that there is an accuser of the brethren bearing false witness. If the information and warning is viable, then the people are protected, God's name is glorified and the community is spared from a church scandal and debacle.
Don't be shmoozed into a gossip attack on godly people. If you hear something bad, DO NOT REPEAT IT. You may need to talk to the accused person to find out if the attacks were true. Individuals, families and entire churches suffer because people like to hear juicy lies about other people, and the juicier the accusation is, along with the godlier the falsely accused person is, then the better some "Christian" people like it. I am not surprised at the openly pagan person being a scandalous talebearer, but those who claim to be part of the family of God would be better off if a millstone were tied about their neck and thrown into Bogue Sound.

7/22/26 A TOTAL CHANGE IN LIFE
7/22/26 A TOTAL CHANGE IN LIFE
God's call and leading involve our leaving something and going to something else, which will either be from something bad to something good, or from something good to something better.
God's call and leading is always the best choice, even when it takes us through a valley or a desert or a storm or a trial or a loss because God is all-knowing, all-wise, all-loving and He is our All-in-all.
God not only knows what is ahead, He does all things well; all things work together for good to them that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. He gives us everything we need for life and godliness. He will never leave or forsake believers. His grace is always all-sufficient for the task or the journey.
The Christian life is not for the faint of heart, but it is for the surrendered heart, the trusting heart, the pure in heart.
Remember, according to 2 Corinthians 4, we go through difficulties and even face death for Jesus' sake, that the life of Jesus might be made manifest (evidenced) through our mortal flesh. By faith we know that He Who raised Jesus from the dead will also raise us up.

Whatever we face is for our sakes and for His glory. Second Corinthians 4 goes on to say...
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

7/21/26 DELIVERANCE FROM WICKEDNESS
7/21/26 DELIVERANCE FROM WICKEDNESS
God delivers from the works of the flesh. Galatians 5:16-21; see first comment.
WOW, this tells us that if we are saved, we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. God actually does deliver us from sin and sinning if we walk in the Spirit. If we are sinning, we are not walking in the Spirit. Choose ye this day...
Galatians 5:16-21
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

7/21/26 CREATED TO PRODUCE GOOD FRUIT
7/21/26 CREATED TO PRODUCE GOOD FRUIT
The Fruit of the Spirit flourishes in faithful believers.
It goes with salvation.
Galatians 5:22-25
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
If you are not producing the fruit of the Spirit, it is because you do not have the Spirit of God, which means, you are not saved.
If you are not flourishing with the fruit of the Spirit, it is because you have not died to the flesh (the Carnal Mind, the Double Mind, the Old Man, aka the sinful nature).
First, we must be born again, then we must die to the world and the flesh.
Some people call it Total Surrender (a good name), some people call it the Deeper Life (another good name), the Bible calls it Entire Sanctification, the Fullness of the Spirit, the Baptism with (or of) the Holy Spirit, Heart Purity (also great names for this spiritual reality).
There is enough grace in the born-again person to quit sinning and to have holy intentions, but it takes death to the Old Man for the believer to be set free from the inner battle with the sinful nature.
Those who deny complete cleansing tell us that believers live in Romans chapter 7. God tells us (at the end of Romans 7:24-25) that we are delivered from the inner conflict because of Jesus and we are delivered from our inherited Adamic corruption by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:1-17).
Don't let anyone highjack your relationship to Jesus and keep you in a life of internal upheaval and a continuous cycle of failing and repenting. God's grace is greater than that. God not only saves us from past sins, He also saves us from a sinning life.

7/20/26 JESUS IS OUR CHAMPION
7/20/26 JESUS IS OUR CHAMPION
Goliath is referred to as "a champion," a warrior designated to represent his army in one-on-one battle. He was also referred to as, "The Philistine" when he challenged the Israelite army, designating him as, "the man" in modern terminology. Goliath was an intimidating warrior, standing over nine feet tall, carrying body armor weighing as much as 150 pounds, and an enormous spear with a spearhead weighing nearly 20 pounds. (Imagine a ten-foot-long, wooden boat oar with a 20-pound iron plate on the end).
When he challenged the Israelite soldiers to one-on-one combat, he insulted them and pointed out that they were not worthy opponents. Even King Saul, the great warrior that he was, did not compare with Goliath. The Israelites did not have a man who could stand against Goliath.
David, who was on a boy's errand, delivering food to his brothers in the army, was a shepherd, not a soldier. When David heard about Goliath's taunting the Israelites, he responded with the confidence of faith that Goliath could be defeated.
Remember, David is a "type" of Christ in nearly a dozen areas. David as a shepherd, was the protector of his sheep, killing a lion and a bear. David was a young man of faith and believed that God would give him victory over the Champion of the Philistines.
Not only did David defeat Goliath, but he also went on to become a great warrior in battle, remembered in song that said, Saul has killed his thousands, but David his ten thousands. David was a type of Christ in the sense that he was The Champion of Israel.
David confronted and defeated the giant champion of the Philistines, who threatened and insulted and intimidated the Israelites. David was the man of God's own choosing. David trembled not at the taunts of Goliath.
Martin Luther's hymn, A Mighty Fortress, refers to our enemy as, our ancient foe, who seeks to work us woe, whose craft and power are great and armed with cruel hate, and on earth there is no one equal.
Luther goes on to say, we cannot stand against this enemy on our own, but rather with the right Man on our side, the Man of God's own choosing, the Lord of hosts is His name, from age to age the same and He changes not, and He must win the battle. This of course is referring to Jesus Christ.
Luther continued to say, we do not fear at the threats of demons; and the prince of darkness, grim, we tremble not for him; his rage we can endure, for lo! his doom is sure because God's Word (Jesus) shall fell (defeat) him.
David was a real person, and he defeated a real champion, who was bigger than life. Jesus is our Champion and He is the Man of God's own choosing. Christ is our Lord of hosts, Who leads us into victory.
We tremble not before the prince of darkness. We are more than conquerors over the dark domain, as we trust and follow Christ, Who always leads us in triumph.
Do not cower back and fear demons or evil men. Don't hide in the shadows of disbelief and defeat. Cast off the chains of sin and Satan. Follow your Champion into victory, for "this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith."
Put on the whole armor of God, take up the sword of the Spirit, follow fully by faith in our Champion, and the gates of hell will not prevail against us.
Sauls armor was not fitted for David, but God fits His armor to us personally and God gives us abilities, skills, talents, and gifts to use in His service. We do not go alone, but He goes before us, dwells within us and delivers us from temptation, sin and hell.
A Mighty Fortress Is Our God
by Martin Luther
1 A mighty fortress is our God,
a bulwark never failing;
our helper he, amid the flood
of mortal ills prevailing.
For still our ancient foe
does seek to work us woe;
his craft and power are great,
and armed with cruel hate,
on earth is not his equal.
2 Did we in our own strength confide,
our striving would be losing,
were not the right Man on our side,
the Man of God's own choosing.
You ask who that may be?
Christ Jesus, it is he;
Lord Sabaoth his name,
from age to age the same;
and he must win the battle.
3 And though this world, with devils filled,
should threaten to undo us,
we will not fear, for God has willed
his truth to triumph through us.
The prince of darkness grim,
we tremble not for him;
his rage we can endure,
for lo! his doom is sure;
one little word shall fell him.
4 That Word above all earthly powers
no thanks to them abideth;
the Spirit and the gifts are ours
through him who with us sideth.
Let goods and kindred go,
this mortal life also;
the body they may kill:
God's truth abideth still;
his kingdom is forever!
Ephesians 6:10-18
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
1 A mighty fortress is our God,
a bulwark never failing;
our helper he, amid the flood
of mortal ills prevailing.
For still our ancient foe
does seek to work us woe;
his craft and power are great,
and armed with cruel hate,
on earth is not his equal.
2 Did we in our own strength confide,
our striving would be losing,
were not the right Man on our side,
the Man of God's own choosing.
You ask who that may be?
Christ Jesus, it is he;
Lord Sabaoth his name,
from age to age the same;
and he must win the battle.
3 And though this world, with devils filled,
should threaten to undo us,
we will not fear, for God has willed
his truth to triumph through us.
The prince of darkness grim,
we tremble not for him;
his rage we can endure,
for lo! his doom is sure;
one little word shall fell him.
4 That Word above all earthly powers
no thanks to them abideth;
the Spirit and the gifts are ours
through him who with us sideth.
Let goods and kindred go,
this mortal life also;
the body they may kill:
God's truth abideth still;
his kingdom is forever!

7/19/26 KEEPING CURRENT WITH GOD
7/19/26 KEEPING CURRENT WITH GOD
You don't want to get to the next stage of your life and regret that you wasted the previous decade. You can never recover your wasted years. A life spent for Christ is not a wasted life.
MOMENTS MATTER
Time spent on the passing, empty moments are wasted. Wasted moments become wasted hours, and wasted hours become wasted days, and wasted days become wasted weeks, months, years, decades, a wasted lifetime and an eternity.
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
Don't look back from your twenties and regret that your teen years were wasted.
Don't look back from your thirties and regret that your twenties were wasted.
Don't look back from your forties and regret that your thirties were wasted.
Don't look back from your fifties and regret that your forties were wasted.
Don't look back from your sixties and regret that your fifties were wasted.
Don't look back from your seventies and regret that your sixties were wasted.
Don't look back from your eighties and regret that your seventies were wasted.
Don't look back from your nineties and regret that your eighties were wasted.
Don't look back from your second hundred years and regret that you wasted your first hundred years.
You can never recover your wasted years.
One way to avoid or limit future regret is to make certain that you are not wasting this present time.
People tend to put off their present opportunities and obligations until, "a more convenient time." The problem is, the "more convenient time" seldom comes, and if it does, folks are too busy, too tired, too overwhelmed or too distracted.
Time is one of your greatest treasures, but it is limited. Don't throw away the time God has given you. Instead, redeem the time. You have lost enough time already. Though you cannot recover the time you have lost, you can dedicate yourself to not lose any more time. Scripture says, "It is appointed unto man once to die, and after that, the judgment." There is coming a time for each of us, when time will be no more. This moment of time will give way to eternity, with or without God. God has provided for us to be with Him forever, but we must choose, while we have time.
God sent His Son to seek and to save you. Don't neglect or reject God. Seek Him, Pursue Him. The sooner you pour yourself into serving God, the more you will realize the power and the goodness of God, and the more God will involve you in His Divine purpose. As Paul said,
Philippians 3:7-11
7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
The Bible tells us, "Seek the Lord while He may be found..." and, "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." Seek God and He will open your understanding. We must become people of faith and, "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God." God will lead you in the way you ought to go. You can find valid counsel in the Bible, in heart searching sermons, in the guidance of mature and pure hearted believers.
It will seem costly, but the Christian life is an investment and a sacrifice. God's word tells us, "The momentary light affliction of this present time is not worthy to be compared to the eternal weight of glory that will be revealed." Don't be one of those people who sits on the sideline of life, criticizing the people who are actually doing the work of God.
Don't wait for someone else to lead the way, or wait for some catastrophic event to shake you out of your stupor. The call is already given, "Whom shall I send, who will go for me?" Now is the time to say, "Here am I Lord, send me."
Whatever your age and whatever your experience, you need to start as a follower, as a learner, as a servant. And you will never outgrow those positions. Humility, submission, consuming love should always be part of your character. We should not only come to a full surrender, but we should also continue in full surrender. "Now is the accepted time, today is the day of salvation."

7/18/26 FREED TO SERVE
7/18/26 FREED TO SERVE
Set free from sin to serve Jesus freely. (Ro. 6:15-22, first comment).
This very simple line is a short way of saying what we find in Romans 6:15-22. (see below)
Romans 6:15-22
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

7/17/26 NO LONGER OUR OWN
Bought with a price. No longer a slave of sin. (see first comment).
We are either joined to Christ or joined to sin. Surrender to the One Who paid the price to set us free from sin.
1 Corinthians 6:15-20
15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

7/17/26 BEING A REAL WINNER
Living without Christ is a losing proposition for the unsaved.
Jesus said,
"You must be born again."
After being saved, refusing to surrender all to Christ and receive the purifying fulness of the Holy Spirit is a losing proposition.
Jesus said,
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."
God also said,
"Without holiness, no man shall see the Lord."
And
The person who refuses to die to self and the world, and who refuses to be purified in heart and life, will give into carnality and sin, and will eventually abandon God altogether.
Satan's agenda is to keep the sinner from being justified, and then to keep the believer from being entirely sanctified.
The Holy Spirit said,
Psalms 24:3-5
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

7/13/26 THERE IS A PLAN
7/13/26 THERE IS A PLAN
Sometimes it may seem that a pastor addresses the same issues too often. Of course, the issues may be minor incidentals, but oftentimes they are vital truths. The person who has heard them for twenty years (+/-) needs to realize that it might be the first time some folks have heard those particular truths. (Hopefully there are "new" people constantly present in the church services).
Also, there are young people who may have heard the information, but remember, sometimes a person needs to hear the same information several times before it registers with them personally. The pastor should be leading the mature believers into greater light and more victories, but he should not be neglecting or leaving the novice or the weaker or the less mature people behind. The local church is a family with members at different levels of understanding, maturity, and development.
The repeating of basic truths is essential in these days of wild confusion and rapid change. Old truths need to be addressed in a contemporary setting and urged upon everyone, and especially the weaker believers. A faithful pastor does not want to lose anyone, but certainly not a "baby" Christian because that person was not properly taught, trained, nurtured, or corrected.
If you hear the same issues repeated, you should also be hearing truths that will help you grow and go in the right direction. Do not think that folks get truth by osmosis. Truth needs to be taught, and they need to be taught repeatedly, at different levels in order to build up and equip each part of the body.
And if you haven't noticed, sometimes the older believers become hardened or oblivious to the truths they learned years before. Sometimes the older believers become crancktified rather than sanctified, or sterilized rather than purified, or self-righteously petrified rather than self-denyingly edified. The New Testament tells us that believers should be reminded of the truths they have been taught in the past.
Ecclesiastes 12:9-14
9 And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.
10 The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.
11 The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.
12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
2 Peter 1:10-15
10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
13 Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;
14 Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.
15 Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.

I included this post in my message to my congregation this morning, telling them all Christians need to take a spiritual inventory, looking at their own strengths, weaknesses, failures, and successes. It should not only be a self-imposed inventory, but it should also be a cry for Divine help.
Psalms 139:23-24
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me and lead me in the way everlasting.
We all need to see ourselves from God's point of view, and we need the continued work of salvation, which conforms us to the image of Jesus.
I take God's commands, directives, and leading, seriously.
I take His corrections and His provisions personally.
Without Him I am without hope; I am worse than useless.
I need Him constantly in every area of my life, and I want to live every moment for Him.
I hope that when I walk out of a room or when I exit this vail of tears, people will remember me as a true and faithful follower of Jesus.
Of the many godly characteristics, which I want to demonstrate in this present evil world, two of the most important are LOVE and FAITH. These two realities are the essence of a believer. I am sure that folks will be able to find fault with me when I am gone, but I really hope they say, "he loved and trusted Jesus above all else."

I am not a great preacher, but I do preach a great message.
I am not a great champion of the faith, but I do champion a great faith.
I am what I am (in any positive sense) by the grace of God, and I am also not what I would be (in any negative sense), by the grace of God.
I am not the most talented, skilled, or brightest minister, but I am called, enabled, and gifted by God's Holy Spirit to do that which He wants me to do, and woe is me if I preach not the gospel of Christ.

In this video, I was reflecting on my blessings and sharing a warning when a health device I wear started to notify me of a low reading. I could have redone the video, but I figured it is a timely illustration of what I was saying. As it turns out, I am fine. But you never know what the next moment will bring. And remember, sudden change does not always come with a sudden warning. I finished my video, and I intend to finish my course. Stay current with God, and you will always be prepared for your eternal transition.

7/11/26 IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE
Think about this...
You will know your eternal destiny the very moment you die physically. If you are living in a faith relationship with Jesus (not to be confused with a presumptuous relationship with Jesus), you presently know your eternal destiny. But saving faith is a current, ongoing, active relationship, not a use-to-be, has-been, or "I was" experience that is a fond memory. The foundation and seal of God, concerning a right relationship, is that we have departed, and we continue to depart from evil. If you are going to claim His name as your Savior, then you need to be separated from sin and separated to Him.
2 Timothy 2:19
19 Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows them that are his. And, Let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

7/10/26 FIND AND FOLLOW TRUTH
7/10/26 FIND AND FOLLOW TRUTH
"Ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of the truth."
"Ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of the truth."
This is what the Bible tells us is a characteristic of end-times mentality. We see it in the lack of common sense, common morality, and common behavior.
Biblical morality is basic morality. Biblical morality is God's directive for human behavior and interaction. To turn from Biblical revelation,
Biblical morality is basic morality. Biblical morality is God's directive for human behavior and interaction. To turn from Biblical revelation,
Biblical morality, Biblical authority, and Biblical accountability is to turn from basic human standards of behavior. The Bible says that God is our Law Giver, our Judge, and our King.
It is also true that basic Christian beliefs and behavior are being denied and replaced in our society. People are attending religious services and classes, but they are not coming to the knowledge of the truth. This is because of demonic deception. People are believing Satanic lies. I have said for a long time, "If you believe a lie, you live a lie; if you live a lie, you die a lie; if you die a lie, you go to hell."
The rejection of God's word is increasing daily, and as a result, the rejection of God and His rule is increasing daily. Since God's word presents to us normal life, rejection of God's word leads to a sub-normal life. This is why, in Christendom, there is an ever-learning of truth but never coming to the knowledge of the truth.
This is not a new problem. The Western world has been allowing Christian culture to replace Christian revelation and salvation for more than a century, and the rapidity of this exchange is increasing exponentially.
The Church (the Body of Christ); has already lost Biblical knowledge, understanding, and a grasp of godliness. The failure of the older generation to walk in the light of Scripture has robbed the present generation of a firm foundation of truth.
Christendom (the masses who refer to themselves as Christians, without having a living relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ), has neglected and rejected Divine revelation and have become comfortable with a form of godliness that does not have Divine power.
A person is not required to be a theological whiz-kid, but we must be faithful to the truths we know, and we must be eager to grow in grace and knowledge, which means we seek and follow the light that God gives us, and we will gladly turn from the darkness that has held us captive.
Being a Christian means we have come out of darkness into light, and we are continuing to receive and walk in more light as we follow Jesus.

7/09/26 VERBAL CANNIBALISM
I am amazed (though I should not be) at how many professing Christians readily accept false accusations against faithful believers (and we know who is the father of lies and the accuser of the brethren), and throw godly people to the dogs, not only ruining a child of God and his family but undermining the message of the obedient servant and trashing the Christian witness and ministry of God.
Pastors tell parishioners not to buy into or distribute gossip, slander, or false witnessing about anyone. Scripture also tells us not to judge others. We should always listen to both sides of an accusation and never side with someone on a crusade of character assassination. Love believes the best. If nothing else, I guess folks have heard of the Golden Rule.

I tell people to BELIEVE on Christ because the Bible tells us it is an action (an imperative) we should obey. It is not an observation. It is not a suggestion. It is not an opinion. It is a choice we make, and it is a choice that will determine our eternal destiny.

7/08/26 PROPHECY THAT PROVES PROPHECY
7/08/26 PROPHECY THAT PROVES PROPHECY
Prophecy can be given for the purpose of foretelling (warning, instruction, or verification), or for the purpose of forthtelling (proclamation or instruction).
Some of the foretelling prophecies concerning Jesus' earthly incarnation were not warnings or instructions, but rather they served as verifications (proofs) after the foretold events had taken place. They proved the veracity and reliability of the prophets and their words, and they proved the identity and authority of Jesus.
This is what we see in the prophecies concerning the Church in Revelation 2 and 3. Obviously, the letters had immediate importance to the seven targeted churches. The letters instructed and warned those specific churches, as well as other local churches that read those letters. Remember, New Testament letters (from the Apostles) were circular in the sense that copies were made by the recipient church and then sent to other churches. The messages in the inspired Apostolic letters were intended for the whole Church.
The seven letters to the seven churches continued to instruct and warn Christians over the past 2,000 years, since they are part of the Book of Revelation. The instructions and warnings in those seven letters have applied to untold thousands of churches throughout Church history. But the prophetic accuracy of the seven letters also verifies what the prophet said in the next 19 chapters of Revelation.
We can now look back and see how the characteristics of the seven churches of Asia Minor became the characteristics of seven different periods of Church history. The seven periods include:
(Ephesus, the Apostolic Church, 33-100 AD) Leaving their first love (relationship with Jesus and Apostolic teaching),
(Smyrna, the Persecuted Church, 100-313) Vicious and widespread persecution at the hands of the State and a Christ-hating society,
(Pergamos, the Compromising Church, 313-590) Acceptance and alliance with pagan rule and religion through compromise (mixing truth with non-Christian beliefs and practice),
(Thyatira, the Corrupted Church, 590-1517) Exchanging Christ's Lordship and Biblical Authority for man-made religion and doctrines of demons,
(Sardis, the Dead Church, 1517-1740) Dependence on Orthodox but lifeless rules and ritual,
(Philadelphia, the Open Door Church, 1740-19??) Rediscovery of transforming truth and evangelistic fervor,
(Laodicea, the Worldly Church, 19??- today) Abandoning spiritual reality and grasping carnal and temporal counterfeits.
Dates are approximate since transitions are not immediate.
This overview of the Church Age culminates in its being caught away, and the beginning of the Tribulation. Obviously, I do not know the schedule or details of God's plan, but I do know the order of events. The plan of God includes His earthly reign, His final victory, and the promise of eternity with Him, for those who trust Him. God is faithful. Put your trust in the Lord.

7/08/26 DON'T GET ROBBED
7/08/26 DON'T GET ROBBED
Don't let anyone defraud or rob you of your inheritance.
People who call themselves Christians, who call themselves teachers, who call themselves leaders, are robbing most Christians in our society of the inheritance God has given to believers.
God's salvation not only provides forgiveness, justification, sanctification (cleansing), regeneration (newness of life), adoption, election, and glorification; God also provides for entire sanctification (purifying the heart from the sinful nature, aka Old Man, Carnal Mind [the Flesh], Double Mind, and the Law of Sin and Death).
In salvation (justification, regeneration), God cleanses our hands (past sins, present behavior, and conscience. But God will purify the heart of the believer from the sin nature. The message of Romans seven and eight is not a Death Sentence to victorious Christian living, it is the Death Knell to the Old Man.
Preachers who teach against the purifying presence and power of the fullness of the Holy Spirit are deceived and deceiving people. They are robbing Christians of blood-bought deliverance from the Adamic nature, which wars against the Holy Spirit.
Deliverance from the Old Man is an inner purifying that saves the believer from an ongoing inner battle. We still contend with spiritual powers outside of ourselves and with temptation, but the battle is not internal.
Christ died to purify unto Himself a distinctive people and the Holy Spirit fills us with power, purity and purpose. When we move into the fullness of the Holy Spirit, we do not have the internal struggle.
Anyone who tells you that you, as a born-again believer cannot be pure, even as Christ is pure, that you cannot love God with you whole heart, mind, soul and strength, that you cannot have perfect love and you cannot keep God's commandment and do that which is pleasing in His sight, that person is telling you a lie, whether they are intending to or not.
DON'T BE ROBBED OF GOD'S PURIFYING SALVATION.

7/07/26 CALLED TO VICTORY
7/07/26 CALLED TO VICTORY
Victorious Christian living is the fruit of Divine control. If you have a control problem, go to the Creator/Redeemer; spend time with Him, listen to Him, surrender to Him, trust Him, and continue on in faith.
Two of the main components of a powerful life are love and faith, which are miraculous works of God in us. Remember, believers are created in Christ Jesus for the purpose of doing good works.
Ephesians 2:10
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
You and I are exactly who He had in mind.
Luke 9:23
23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
There is a negative (a minus, not an evil) side, and a positive (an addition) side to personal victory.
The negative side of the victorious life (the part that must be removed) is SELF-WILL.
The positive side of the victorious life (the part that adds to our success) is CHRIST IN US.
God's solution may be a complete renewal or replacement, or an overhaul or restoration, or a tuning-up, depending on your current relationship with God. God will give you what you need, but you must seek Him, you must come to Him without any reservation, in complete self-denial.
Jesus said,
1 John 5:1-5
1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

7/07/26 THE REASON TO THE RHYME
7/07/26 THE REASON TO THE RHYME
His "delayed" return is merciful; to save whosoever will. Make certain you are one of the "whosoever."
2 Peter 3:3-18
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

7/07/26 GOD TOLD US
7/07/26 GOD TOLD US
In Revelation 2 and 3, God gave us an expressly clear preview of coming events for the Church.
A QUICK OVERVIEW...
Ch.1 Introduction.
Chs. 2-3 Prophecies of the Seven Periods of Future Church History.
Chs. 4-18 Prophecies concerning the Seven Years (after the Rapture) of The Tribulation Period.
Ch. 19 Prophecy of the Return of Christ.
Ch. 20 Prophecy of the Millenial Reign of Christ, the Final Defeat of Satan, The Great White Throne Judgment.
Ch. 21 Prophecy of New Heaven, Earth and Jerusalem.
Ch. 22 Prophecy of the Eternal Reign of Christ and Call to Faithfulness.
You will notice that the 200+ years of prophesied Church History only takes two chapters. Likewise, the Prophecies of the Return of Christ, the Millennial Reign of Christ, the Final Defeat of Satan, The Great White Throne Judgment, the New Heaven, Earth and Jerusalem, and the Eternal Reign of Christ are addressed in only
four chapters.
The major portion of Revelation is focused on the coming Tribulation. This does not mean that the other prophecies are unimportant.
It is important to realize that the two chapters about the Seven Periods of Church are also prophetic.
The seven churches mentioned in Revelation actually existed in Asia Minor during this time, in the cities of Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea. Jesus did dictate letters to these seven Churches,
But the seven churches were also representative of coming periods of the Church History, and the characteristics, the commendations, the condemnations, the warnings and the blessings of those churches would be applicable to the seven periods.
Each of these types of churches would exist in each of the seven periods, but the period would be characterized by the specific churches.
As we study the seven different character profiles of each church we will find those characteristics become very distinct for each period. The prophecies are amazingly applicable.
I will give you a basic outline. The exact time for each period is approximate. We also may not know all of the applications and interpretations of these two chapters. But with the history we have at this time, it is easy to see the prophetic meaning to each church.
Ephesus... The Apostolic Church... 33-100 AD (Authority of Apostles).
Smyrna... The Persecuted Church... 100-313 AD (targeted by Caesars).
Pergamos... The Compromising Church... 313-590 (the influence of Constantine and mixing with paganism).
Thyatira... The Corrupt Church... 590-1517 The establishing and development of RCC and the Papacy).
Sardis... The Dead Church... 1517-1740 (the Reformation movement).
Philadelphia... The Open Door Church... 1740-1900 (the recovery of abandoned Christian doctrine and practice and evangelism).
Laodicea... The Lukewarm Church... 1900-Today (the rejection of Biblical revelation and surrender to worldliness).

7/06/26 BOTH DIVINE AND HUMAN
Knowing about the death of Christ does not save anyone.
This statement does not demean the sacrifice of Christ; it simply recognizes the Biblical record of the Divine plan.
Jesus died and rose again, but there are people who are not saved.
Some people were told about the death and resurrection of Christ, but they were never saved.
Some people witnessed the death and resurrection of Christ, but they were never saved.
Some people have believed the report of the death and resurrection of Christ, but they were never saved.
There is NO SALVATION without the death and resurrection of Christ, but there is no salvation without saving faith in the death and resurrection of Christ.
The atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross and His victory over death are Divine essentials for our salvation. God provided this.
Saving faith in Christ as Lord, confession of, and turning from sin are human essentials to our salvation. God requires and enables this.
We can't do God's part, and God won't do our part. This is God's design.
We are not saved by the "law of works," but we are saved by the "law of faith."
Romans 3:27
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
The "law of faith" is contrary to the "law of works."
Faith (saving faith) is not a human invention or endeavor; it is a Divine plan and provision.
Faith is not self-salvation or self-reliance; it is self-denial, self-surrender to God, and total dependence on God.
The Bible tells us that we become and continue to be His children by faith, we are saved by grace through faith, we are justified by faith, we are sanctified by faith, our hearts are purified by faith, we have access to His grace by faith, we wait for the hope of righteousness by faith, Christ dwells in our hearts by faith, and God enables His people to "stand by faith," "live by faith," "walk by faith," "overcome the world" by faith, obey and please God by faith, pull down spiritual strongholds by faith and faith secures the unseeable. Faith is God working in us.
To trust and obey is not a work of the flesh; it is a work of faith.

7/06/26 ONE AUTHORITY
7/06/26 ONE AUTHORITY
Not only for Israel
Not only for America.
Not only for the world.
But for each of us individually...
God is our Judge.
God is our Lawmaker.
God is our King.
(Isaiah 33:22)
We can disagree. We can disobey. We can defy.
But God is still the Judge, the Lawmaker, and the King.
No mandate, no movement, and no man-made government supersede the Authority of God.
If we repent of our sins and receive Christ as Lord and Savior, we can escape sin and Divine wrath.
But if we continue in sin and rebellion, we cannot escape the consequences of continuing in our rebellion.
Hebrews 9:27-28
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Titus 2:11-15
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
Luke 21:25-28
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Psalm 33:10-14
10 The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.
11 The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
13 The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.
14 From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.

7/04/26 A SAD SCHEDULE
7/04/26 A SAD SCHEDULE
The USA was founded by imperfect men, but based on Divine wisdom, and just principles found in Christianity, as recorded in the 66 books of the Holy Bible. God gave us, as a nation, the responsibility to self-govern according to His rule of law and grace.
Through the years, wicked men and women, political platforms, elected officials, and appointed judges have been pushing anti-faith, anti-family, anti-freedom policies and bloodthirsty demonic religion on our nation with increasing zeal and enforcement.
We have watched Europe surrender to Socialism (COMMUNISM) and Islamic oppression, to the point that Europe is under the thumb of godless invaders. We are seeing Liberal (Leftist, Progressive, Oppressive) powers gain power, as they overthrow our country.
I love America (though it has been missing since the late 1980s). It is getting "PROGRESSIVELY" worse. I think we have reached the point of no return.
I am grateful for God giving our country and our world a "stay of execution," but our merciful and loving God is also a just and jealous God, and He told us long ago that His Spirit would not always strive with man.
The longer we reject Christ, the more people will align against Him. God allowed us to escape political, financial, religious, and moral destruction as a nation for 250 years.
I remember being taught in Junior High School (more than 60 years ago) that political systems only last about 200 years. I could not believe that would apply to the USA, since our country was less than 190 years old. However, I could not foresee my country collapsing or being overthrown. Now, looking back, it appears that the timeline was accurate. We have maintained an appearance of a Constitutional Republic, as a nation governed by the Rule of Law, but we are no longer the same country we once were. Even with our flaws, America was exceptional and able to correct our problems.
Our problems started to overwhelm us as our leaders and citizenry separated further from God and His word. God is gracious to individuals and nations, but there comes a time when God calls us to account for our blatant rebellion.
I am sorry for those who never saw America. But I am especially sorry for those who will not enter the Kingdom of God because they choose to live under their own rule rather than trust and obey the true and living God.
