9/09/26 THE MODEL OF TRUE RELIGION
Remember, Freedom of Religion in the Constitution did not include pagan or aberrant religions; Islam, Statism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Shintoism, Tribalism (Indigenous Asian, African, European, American), Mormonism, Universalism, anti-God Communism (Socialism), or other groups that opposed Biblical Christianity.
If the practices of a religion were in opposition to "Christian" values, faith and civility, not only were they not protected by law, then they were illegal. Even the American slave trade, which had been globally accepted practice throughout history, became illegal because of Christian faith and practice. Basically, you could believe what you wanted to believe, but you were not guaranteed the right to practice it.
