It is bad enough to resist God's loving reproof and correction one time (which could be your only opportunity to receive God's mercy), but how much worse to harden your heart often and then be suddenly cut off without remedy!
Proverbs 29
1He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
Don't taunt God.
