I saw the following QUOTE on a "Christian" group. It is almost like a joke, a bad joke. How sad that the level of Christian understanding feels comfortable in excusing their unclean speech. And sadder that they find comfort from a popular preacher. And sadder because they thought it was valid to blame the Marine Corp. for their lack of grace, wisdom, dignity, and respect for other people. Since when does the wickedness of any worldly organization justify filthiness in the people of God, or lessen the responsibility of Christians to be conformed to the image of Jesus? And saddest of all, because such a stance misrepresents the saving grace of God. What a shallow view of Christ and salvation when people continue in sin as if it is normal or acceptable.
QUOTE (copied and pasted)
"I remember (popular preacher's name ommited) saying that when he got saved his heart knew it but his mouth forgot it at times. He was a Marine so his mouth was used to running without a filter."
