03/27/26 VALIANT VOLUNTEERS WANTED

03/27/26 VALIANT VOLUNTEERS WANTED

Be A Valiant Volunteer, Not A Reluctant Recruit

If a person with a goal, an objective, needs help to bring his dream to fruition, he will look for people who are already excited about the plan, already vested in the project, already active in "making it happen." The visionary should not need to find," or stir-up, or spoon-feed, or constantly motivate, and re-teach and remind the others about the basics of the task. The leader is looking for others who are convinced, driven, and eager to make the dream come to reality.

Everyone needs to be recruited, trained, and challenged at some point. But the longer it takes for a person to catch the vision, the less likely they are to reach the goal. The losses build up while the hesitation drags on.

Sometimes people never catch the vision, and the treasure is never recovered.
Sometimes a person starts out as an enthusiastic participant, but the demand of excellence and the ridicule of the nay-sayers and the cost of success is more than they are willing to face, so they drop out before the prize is won.

No telling how many wars are lost and victories are abandoned because doubt said that the "cost was too great." Even when victory was within grasp, entire campaigns have been lost because there was no vision, no stick-to-itiveness, no "do or die mentality." And that "do or die" must be an inner fire that cannot be quenched, a driving force that cannot be stopped.

There is a season for victory, just like there is a season for harvest. But the other seasons must happen before the day of victory. There must be people who will make the sacrifice in order to reap the benefits, accomplish the task. If there are not enough people available, then the loss will be catastrophic.

Don't wait for God to draft you into His army of deliverance or coerce you into standing firm or force you into doing His will. Hear His call today. Answer, "Here am I, LORD, send me."

Remember, there is a violence God is looking for in His people. Jesus said, "The kingdom of God suffers violence, and the violent take it by force." It is not a violence of vindictiveness, but of vehement eagerness that will not be denied. It is the force of holy intention, holy determination. It is the drive of total commitment.

Charge the Gates of Hell, Do Not Drag Your Feet To The Fray.

The cost is great, but it is nothing compared to the return it brings.
